  • MJC-Trier Men2 Landesliga (State Rheinland Region), 2022/23 leage champions
  • MJC-Trier Men1 Oberliga (Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland), 2023/23 league s
  • 9/15/2022: Injury.
  • 1/7/2023:  First game after injury: BVRP state tournament. Roman Porr shot 5/6 threes, for a career best 83%.
  • 1/29/2023:   Decided to take some time off from basketball. Thank you for all your support.

 

2021/2022

Roman Porr (age 16/17) played for:

  • MjC-Trier U18: 2021/22 UNDEFEATED LEAGUE CHAMPION (DISTRICT, 12:0),  2nd place state regional tournament (Rheinland),  3rd place state final four tournament.
  • MJC-Trier Men2 Landesliga: 2021/22 LEAGUE CHAMPION (State Rheinland Region). Porr scored 48.9% three pointers (30/62) !
  • MJC-Trier Men1 Oberliga (Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland), 2nd place
  • 02/06/2022:  Best game: Landesliga 38 points, 5/11 threes, 7/10 twos, 9/11 FTs.
  • 02/13/2022:  U18 state regional tournament, Quadruple double: 21pts, 11 assists, 13 steals, 10 rebounds.
  • 4/29/2022: MJC2 Landesiga wins league championship. Roman Porr scores a team-high 19 points (3/6 3PTs, 3/4 2PTs, 4/4 FTs), and scores the last 7 points, including two game winning FTs with 4 seconds left.
  • 5/6/2022: Oberliga finishes in 2nd place, one 3PT short from moving up to regional league.
  • 5/21/2022: Roman Porr shoots 9/15 3PTs.
2020/2021
  • Because of COVID, the entire 2020/21 season was canceled. Only three test scrimmages were played  before the season was officially cancelled.

  • Roman Porr (age 15/16) was a member of these teams.

    • MCJ U18 -- this is his normal age group.
    • MCJ Men-2 Landesliga Rheinland-Pfalz
    • MCJ Men-1 Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland.
2019/20

  • Roman Porr (age 14/15)  played for:

    • MCJ U16 Oberliga (states Rheinland-Pfalz & Saarland), his normal age group.
    • MJC U18 Bezirksliga - CHAMPIONS
    • MCJ Men A-Class (state), 3rd place
    • Trained with Oberliga Men1 team, see below.
  • Best 3point shooter in all leagues and tournaments.
  • Best Games: 40pts.  8/11 3points. FTs: 10/11.  One tripple-double.
  • U18 State Regional Finals Tournament (Rheinland-Meisterschaft), 3rd place.  Best 3 Point Shooter.
  • Team Captain, U16
  • Started training with the Oberliga Men-1 team in early 2020, and was slated to start playing with them in March 2020; then the rest of the season was cancelled due to COVID.
2008-2018

Internships:

  • 2022 Two Week Internship with "Muskelmanufaktur" gym in Trier with well known personal trainer Sasha Thelen.
  • 2018: Short Internship in Sports Movement Optimization, with GetFit Trier

    • U18 Regional Champs -- undefeated.
    • U18 State Regional Finals Tournament (Rheinland Meisterschaften, Lahnstein), 2nd place
    • U18 State Final Four Tournament, 3rd place
  • 2018/19, U16 State Regional Finals Tournament (Rheinland Meisterschaften, Bitburg), lost advancement to state finals on a buzzer beater.
  • 2017/18, U14 State Regional Finals Tournament (Rheinland Meisterschaften, Lahnstein), 3rd place
  • 6/5/2016 Winners  U12 International tournament in Luxembourg ( 1. MCJ, 2. Baskets Esch, 3. Nitia, 4. Musel Pikes, 5. Telstar, 6. Monsdorf)
  • 2015/16, U12 State Regional Finals Tournament (Rheinland Meisterschaften, Koblenz-Karthause), 3rd place.

  • 5/12/2016 The Harlem Globetrotters were in town, and Roman Porr (age 11) played in a U12 exhibition game before the show in front of about 1000 spectators; this  all-city selection of U12 players also joined the Globetrotter's half-time show.
  • First official basketball game: Sept 20, 2015 with Trier-MJC-U12 against TG-Konz (we won 103:14)
  • 2011-2017, Organized soccer at Trier Tarforst and Trier Irsch
  • 5/29/2015 Soccer: Champions of their U11 grouping (E-Jugend), played for Tarforst-2.
  • 2008-2011, Organized soccer at South Orlando Soccer Club
